Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in a school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs such as SEND/ ASD/ ADHD.
• Patient, caring and proactive with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Committed to creating an inclusive, safe and positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils.
• Support children with their learning, development and independence.
• Work alongside class teachers to support lessons and activities.
• Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and access the curriculum.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and resilience.
• Support pupils with additional needs in an inclusive classroom environment.
