Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Torbay for a mix of full-time and part-time opportunities. The role offers daily pay of £92-£100 depending on experience and qualifications, with immediate start dates available.

Based in Torbay, you will assist teachers, support learning, and help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Have experience working with children or young people (school, childcare, coaching, youth work or similar).
• Are patient, caring, and adaptable.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Are passionate about making a difference in children\'s education.
• Hold a relevant qualification (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the classroom to enhance their learning and development.
• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support children with additional needs where necessary.
