Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a variety of primary teaching roles across Torbay, including Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. We are seeking enthusiastic teachers for day-to-day supply, long-term, maternity cover and permanent positions in EYFS and KS1/KS2.

Holders of QTS or those awaiting QTS are encouraged to apply. You will work in supportive schools, with flexible start dates and access to free CPD and a dedicated recruitment consultant to help place you in the right role.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or is due to obtain QTS.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
• Adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and parents.
• Support pupils' academic and personal development.
