Job summary

Warboys Primary Academy is seeking a Casual Teaching Assistant to support teachers and pupils on a flexible, as-needed basis. The role includes preparing materials, supporting learning, and promoting inclusive practice while maintaining high standards of behaviour.

Applicants should have Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English, with TA qualifications preferred and experience with pupils with special needs. The post is casual with pay at £12.89 per hour (Pathway 1) and an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Maths and English qualification required.
• Teaching Assistant qualification preferred and experience in education recommended.
• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
• Knowledge of child protection, health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher and ensure inclusion of all pupils.
• Assist pupils in accessing learning at their level and achieve targets.
• Prepare classroom and materials for lessons and promote good behaviour.
