Job summary

The Supply Register, in partnership with Codsall Multi Academy Trust, is recruiting Teaching Assistants to join our Bank Staff Pool from September 2026 across primary and middle schools. We welcome experienced TAs, recent graduates, or individuals looking to develop a career in education, with a variety of flexible opportunities available.

As a Teaching Assistant you will support teachers, work with individuals and small groups, help create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment, and

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential.
• A positive, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people's education and development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
