Job summary

PK Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Birmingham schools. The role offers flexible, temporary work starting September 2026, with 1:1 and small-group support in line with each school's needs.

No formal qualifications are required, but you should be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff, demonstrate a genuine love of education, and be prepared to follow school policies. DBS support is provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience working alongside children within a school or care environment.
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with staff and students.
• A genuine passion for education and learning.

Responsibilities

• You will be expected to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who may require additional academic and/or behavioural support.
• You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher s guidance to deliver material and interventions.
• You will be expected to support and follow the school s policies and procedures.
• You will be given support and guidance on how to do this.
