Job summary

Jane Lewis Healthcare Recruitment is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our agency team in Havant. You’ll support people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments across local services.

This flexible agency role offers shifts to fit your availability, competitive weekly pay from £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay), and free DBS check plus training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Aged 18 or over.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A caring, reliable and professional approach, with the confidence to adapt to different settings.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical care and support.
• Helping with everyday tasks, activities and getting out into the community.
• Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement.
• Providing or prompting personal care when required.
• Following support plans and keeping accurate records.
• Some services will require complex care; additional training will be provided to support you with this.
