Job summary

Brook Street Social Care is seeking a temporary Support Worker to assist vulnerable adults across South Wales, with flexible hours and a PAYE arrangement. Roles include supported living, residential care, learning disability, and mental health services.

Experience in UK care or support, a caring approach, and strong communication are essential. DBS on Update Service desirable; driving licence is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months UK paid care or support experience (or recent relevant training with certificates)
• Caring, positive and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for supporting vulnerable adults
• DBS on the Update Service is desirable
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerable adults to live as independently as possible
• Assist with daily living tasks and personal care where required
• Facilitate community access and social activities
• Promote positive outcomes for service users
