Job summary

Search Consultancy is expanding its Bank Support Worker team in the Skipton area. We’re seeking experienced Support Workers to join us on a flexible agency basis, with weekly pay and a fast-track recruitment process. A free enhanced DBS is offered for successful applicants (limited-time).

You’ll support adults in specialist healthcare settings with mental health needs and learning disabilities, gaining experience across services while making a real difference.

Qualifications

• 6 months UK experience as a Support Worker or in a similar healthcare role.
• Caring, reliable and professional approach.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to travel within Skipton and the surrounding areas using your own transport or public transport.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with day-to-day living activities
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice
• Assisting with mobility and safe moving & handling
• Supporting with meals, hydration and personal wellbeing
• Observing and reporting changes in service users' wellbeing
• Completing accurate records and following individual care plans
