Job summary

Rota Support LTD is seeking reliable Support Workers in and around Sudbury for ad-hoc, flexible shifts on a 0 hours contract. You will work across residential homes, respite and supported living services, supporting adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs.

Experience with anxiety, autism, depression or schizophrenia is welcome. Tasks include meal prep, household chores, medication administration, assisting with finances, community activities, and providing emotional support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 months experience in a residential setting supporting people with mental health or learning disabilities.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Compassionate, patient and enjoys helping others.

Responsibilities

• Helping with meal preparation.
• Household chores.
• Administering medication.
• Help with managing finances.
• Accessing community facilities and going shopping.
• Providing general emotional support.
