Job summary

Rota Support LTD is recruiting Healthcare Assistants in Sudbury for ad-hoc, flexible shifts on a zero-hours contract. You will work across different homes and services to fill rota gaps, with short notice or weeks in advance depending on client needs.

To be considered, you should have a minimum of 4 months experience in a care home, a good level of spoken and written English, and a compassionate, patient approach. A DBS check and the right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 months experience in a care home.
• Good understanding of spoken and written English.
• Compassionate, patient and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding, toilet).
• Move patients using equipment as needed.
• Help tidy patient’s home or room.
• Take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature).
• Talk to patients and reassure them.
• Assist nurses and other staff as required.
