Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join a network of South East London schools. You will support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, help keep lessons engaging and on track, and bring calm and structure to busy classrooms. Roles offer flexible days, weekly pay, and long-term opportunities.

Ideal candidates have experience with children or a background in childcare, tutoring, or SEN support, and a patient, adaptable approach to new environments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to different year groups and environments.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience and positive behaviour strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups as needed.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and well-paced lessons.
• Provide calm, structured support in busy classrooms.
• Support children with additional needs where required.
• Be the extra pair of hands that helps the day run smoothly.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment across schools.
