Job summary

Aspire People is seeking reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of Northamptonshire schools with flexible day-to-day cover.

Assignments across Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Wellingborough and surrounding areas require travel; candidates should be able to travel between locations and start ASAP. The role involves supporting teachers and pupils, enabling learning, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in educational settings.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow teachers' instructions and adapt to new environments.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and pupils across diverse educational settings.
• Assist in classroom activities and with individuals or small groups.
• Help pupils stay engaged, focused and motivated.
• Support classroom routines and maintain a positive behaviour environment.
• Provide additional assistance to pupils with different learning needs.
