Job summary

Hirecracker Education is seeking Flexible Supply Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Chester and Ellesmere Port. You’ll work in mainstream primary schools on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or as general classroom support, with a focus on a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates are caring, patient and proactive, with strong teamwork and communication skills. DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply) is required or desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting (desirable).
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in class on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, or as general classroom support
• Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities
• Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Supervising pupils during activities, transitions, and break times when needed
