Job description

Flexible Supply - Wiltshire

Love teaching but ready for a change from the demands of a permanent classroom role?

We're looking for qualified Primary Teachers for flexible supply work across Wiltshire.

From a single day in Reception to a week in Year 4 or a longer-term position with one class, you decide how much you want to work and the type of roles you're interested in.

Supply teaching could be ideal if you want to:

  • Reduce the planning and workload associated with a permanent role
  • Explore different schools before committing long-term
  • Return to teaching after a career break
  • Supplement part-time teaching with additional days
  • Gain experience across different year groups and settings

We're looking for teachers with QTS, strong classroom management and the confidence to walk into a new school and quickly create a positive learning environment.

Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, ranging from ad hoc daily cover to short and long-term assignments.

We work with all schools throughout Swindon, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath, NE Somerset, Somerset, South Glos and surrounding areas. There will be a school and role nearby!

We pride ourselves on employing a wide range of educators from a variety of experienced backgrounds and settings as well as aspiring educators and teachers with diverse experiences and transferable skills who are passionate and caring individuals to educate children and young people within our schools.

Please note, to apply for this role you must have right to work in the UK.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
