Cover Supervisor

Start date: September 2025

We are seeking a full-time, term-time only Cover Supervisor to support our school by covering for absent teachers. The role primarily involves supervising pupils aged 11-18 years, with some duties involving younger pupils.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience working with or supporting young adults and children
• Organised and confident in managing a classroom
• Knowledge of how technology can support learning

Responsibilities:

• Cover lessons, break duties, and other supervision duties as needed in the absence of teachers and assistants
• Register pupils in class
• Maintain pupils on task with set work
• Uphold high standards of behaviour in accordance with school policies

The pay rate depends on qualifications and experience.
