Job summary

SSE plc is offering a 12-week Summer Placement across Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth. Start date is June 2027. Salary of £26,239 per annum plus a range of benefits and Flexible First options.

You’ll be in your second or third year of university, studying towards a degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Data Analytics, with an intention to return to university after the placement.

Qualifications

• Must be in 2nd or 3rd year and intend to return to university after the placement.
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Data Analytics.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills; ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across risk, planning and scheduling, reporting, project controls and information management.
• Work with experienced professionals to understand how project information, schedules and risks are managed.
• Support teams in decision-making and project delivery through data and analyses.
• Contribute to a collaborative work environment and build effective stakeholder relationships.
