Job summary

Choice Care is seeking a Social Care Worker at Stroud Lodge in Gloucester. The role involves shift work including weekends on a rota, with 48 hours per week and a pay rate of £12.80 per hour.

You will receive free in-house training and a structured career path from day one, helping residents lead fulfilled lives and stay safe and happy. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, with training provided to develop skills in personal care, activity support, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
• Medication administration
• Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings
• Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
• Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
• Maintaining written daily records
• Attending and completing training, as required
