Choice Care is recruiting for a Social Care Worker to support residents at Springfield House in Gloucester. The role offers 40 hours per week with shifts including weekends on a rota, and full training is provided to develop expertise in a caring, person-centred environment.

We provide in-house training at no charge and a structured career path from day one, with opportunities to participate in outings and activities that enhance the residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Patient, reliable and flexible.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willing to learn; training provided by Choice Care.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding.
• Medication administration.
• Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings.
• Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures.
• Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents.
• Maintaining written daily records.
• Attending and completing training, as required.
