Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to provide maternity-cover for a Year 9 student in a Chelmsford school. The role is a flexible associate contract, with travel to the client’s school as needed and potential for additional work beyond the initial period.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people in educational settings, with a small, flexible caseload and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience with children and young people in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide maternity-cover SLT support for a Year 9 student with mild speech and language difficulties.
• Deliver ongoing therapy sessions in a school setting, once or twice a month.
• Work within KT Healthcare's multidisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care.
• Possibly take on additional caseloads and future opportunities after the maternity cover.
