Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to provide maternity cover for a school-based client in Chelmsford. The role involves supporting a Year 9 student with mild speech and language difficulties and delivering sessions once or twice a month.

This associate contract offers flexibility, a sub-contracting model, and potential for additional work with KT Healthcare beyond the initial maternity period.

Qualifications

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist with relevant clinical practice.
• Experience working with children/young people in educational settings is preferred.
• Ability to provide consistent, patient-focused therapy in a school context.

Responsibilities

• Provide maternity cover for an existing client in a school setting.
• Support a Year 9 student with mild speech and language needs.
• Deliver ongoing sessions once or twice a month during the maternity period.
• Travel to the client’s school in Chelmsford as required.
