Job summary

Angard Staffing in the United Kingdom is hiring flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters to support Royal Mail operations. You will unload mail, sort by postcode and move items through a busy warehouse.

Shifts run early, late and night, with 4–12 hour blocks and weekend work as needed. Pay rates are £13.69, £15.14 and £16.44 per hour, with changes announced in advance during busy periods. Candidates should be comfortable lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced setting

• Can push trolleys up to 250kg and lift mail bags up to 11kg
• Can stand and walk for long periods during shifts
• Reliable and flexible with good attention to detail
• No previous experience needed - training provided
• Comfortable switching between tasks

Responsibilities

• Unloading mail and parcels
• Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
• Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines - some teams sort over a million items in a single shift!
• Handle election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards
