Job summary

Angard Staffing is seeking detail-oriented Mail Sorters to join Royal Mail operations in London. This role offers flexible, shift-based work in a fast-paced environment and a chance to contribute to national logistics.

You’ll unload mail and parcels, sort by postcode, and move items through the warehouse. Shifts include Early, Late and Night with pay from £16.24 to £19.00 per hour. You should be able to stand long, and handle varying loads safely.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or sorting work is a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods and handle heavy loads safely.
• Flexible and able to switch between tasks, including weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Unloading mail and parcels
• Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
• Working efficiently to meet deadlines; some teams sort over a million items in a shift
• Handle election materials and items such as food or alcohol in line with Royal Mail standards
