Job summary

Horncastle Primary School is seeking a reliable cleaner to join our friendly team on a casual, zero-hours basis. Full training will be provided from day one, with no formal qualifications required. You will help keep classrooms, offices and washrooms clean and welcoming for pupils and staff.

The role involves routine cleaning tasks, occasional deep cleans during holidays, and flexibility to cover shifts as needed. DBS checks and safeguarding procedures apply as part of working with children.

Qualifications

• No experience needed; full training provided from day one.
• No formal qualifications required; reliability and teamwork valued.

Responsibilities

• Keep classrooms, offices and washrooms clean and tidy.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and empty bins daily.
• Sanitise washrooms and restock hygiene supplies.
• Use cleaning equipment safely; training provided on safety guidelines.
• Occasional deep cleans during school holidays and assist with site security.
