Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant in Ipswich to support excellent customer service across our Waitrose store. You’ll help with stock replenishment, online order fulfilment, and assist the broader shop team to keep conditions safe and welcoming for customers.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place.
• Fulfilling online orders for home delivery or driver hand-off.
• Help reduce waste through proper product dating and markdowns.
• Support shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and other customer orders.
• Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organised work environment.
