Job summary

Pebbles Care Limited is seeking a Residential Child Care Worker to support children and young people across multiple homes in Scotland and North England. The role offers flexible, zero-hour shifts and full induction into Therapeutic Parenting.

You will receive training, access to progression opportunities, and employee benefits including pension, health plan, and meal perks. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Highly responsible and accountable for safeguarding children and young people.
• Desire to pursue child care qualifications and training.
• Nurturing and caring by nature; patient and resilient.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good IT skills.
• Full, valid UK manual driver’s licence required.

Responsibilities

• Care for children and young people in all aspects of life, keeping them safe.
• Support care teams across several homes within the region.
• Receive induction, shadow shifts and Therapeutic Parenting training.
• Manage shifts availability and cover at least one shift every four weeks.
