Pebbles Care Limited is hiring for Residential Child Care Worker on a zero-hour basis in the North England and Scotland region. The role requires a full UK manual driving licence and involves safeguarding, education support, and engaging activities for children and young people aged 8–18.

You’ll receive full induction, shadow shifts, and training in Therapeutic Parenting, with shifts including sleepovers and daytime coverage. Benefits include a referral bonus and health plan access.

Qualifications

• Willingness to pursue relevant child-care qualifications and training.
• Experience in safeguarding and wellbeing of children or young people is desirable.
• Ability to work across multiple homes and support teams.
• Commitment to Therapuetic Parenting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Care for children and young people across residences, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Support care teams across several homes in the same area.
• Complete induction, shadow shifts and training including Therapeutic Parenting.
• Cover shifts regularly and carry out at least one shift every four weeks to stay active.
