Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics around Wooburn Green. The role covers routine clinical tasks, patient-facing duties, and general support within GP clinic environments.

You'll help with observations, clinical tasks and maintain smooth clinic operations, contributing to safe, efficient patient care. Flexible shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends are available.

Qualifications

• GP/NHS settings experience required.
• Confident performing routine patient observations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience is beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical observations.
• Support treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Perform ECGs and health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy where trained.
• Record information accurately in clinical systems.
• Provide general assistance to nursing and clinical teams.
