Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare in Hoddesdon seeks experienced Support Workers to join our agency team, providing high-quality care on behalf of one of the UK’s leading social care charities. These flexible, temporary assignments support adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in the Hoddesdon area.

You will work across several shifts, deliver personal care, assist with mobility and transfers, administer medications per care plans, observe health changes, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate is required.
• 1 year of experience supporting adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Medication administration training up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and manual handling as required.
• Administer medications as per care plans.
• Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow individualised care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of care delivered.
• Support individuals using behaviour management strategies as needed.
