Job summary

London Borough of Hackney is seeking Shared Lives carers who can open their homes and routines to adults and young people aged 16 and over in a flexible, supportive arrangement. No formal care qualifications are required, but DBS checks and references are mandatory.

You can work from home and in your local community, with roles ranging from long-term placements to day support. Training and ongoing guidance are provided to help carers thrive.

Qualifications

• No formal care qualifications required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• UK resident or have leave to remain (visa sponsorship not provided).
• One spare bedroom required for long-term respite, not required for day support.
• Enhanced DBS (police) check and references needed.
• Reliable access to a digital device for online learning and video calls.
