Teach Plus in Westminster is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for flexible, ad-hoc opportunities in a welcoming primary school. The role involves supporting pupils with SEND, both in one-to-one and small group settings, starting ASAP. Full and part-time options are available to suit your schedule.

The successful candidate will provide tailored support, help foster pupil engagement and contribute to a positive learning environment while gaining valuable experience in primary education.

Formación

• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Minimum of 3 months UK experience in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS with Update Service must be held.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils with SEND through tailored one-to-one assistance and small-group interventions.
• Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour, encourage participation and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Help pupils develop their communication, social, emotional and academic skills.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to implement individual learning strategies.
• Adapt to different classroom settings and provide flexible support in response to the school's daily requirements.
