Job summary

Senploy is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools in Fleet on flexible and long-term placements.

You’ll support students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD and SEMH, help access learning, provide one-to-one and small group support, and work with teachers to deliver consistent care. Training is provided, and PAYE pay is £90–£100 per day. This role offers a meaningful stepping stone into education careers such as teaching, educational psychology, and youth work.

Qualifications

• Empathy, reliability and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable adults is beneficial.
• Willingness to undertake training and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
• Help pupils access learning both inside and outside the classroom.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Build strong relationships to support student progress.
• Work closely with teachers and SEN teams to provide consistent support.
