Job summary

Edugroup Ltd is recruiting Supply SEN Teaching Assistants for flexible opportunities across Bury and North Manchester. You will support pupils with special educational needs and assist teachers with IEPs and behavior strategies, adapting to school requirements.

Role involves one-to-one and small-group support, helping children with autism and diverse needs, and promoting inclusion and safe, engaging classroom environments. Pay ranges £102–£159 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and needs.
• Willingness to provide one-to-one and small-group classroom support.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to children with SEN to promote academic and social development.
• Assist teachers with IEPs and behavior management strategies.
• Support classroom activities, including lessons, playtime and transitions.
• Foster positive communication and social skills through one-on-one and group activities.
• Monitor progress and report on student development to teachers and specialists.
• Maintain a nurturing atmosphere that promotes inclusion and respect.
