Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to provide tailored support across local educational settings in Rotherham. You’ll work 1:1, in small groups, or across classrooms with children and young people who require specialist support.

Choose your hours, receive direct booking requests from primary and secondary schools, and deliver flexible SEN assistance that helps students build confidence and independence while safeguarding and best-practice methods are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs in educational or care settings.
• Ability to implement targeted support strategies and use communication tools to remove barriers to learning.
• Experience tailoring approaches for primary and secondary learners.
• Patient, calm, nurturing demeanor with safeguarding knowledge.
• Valid right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support, small-group intervention, or general SEN classroom assistance.
• Adapt support to students' needs and maintain safeguarding standards.
• Work across primary and secondary settings to foster independence and confidence.
