Job summary

Mana Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with diverse needs across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. Roles include 1:1 and small-group support, working with pupils with ADHD, ASC, SEMH, and communication needs, under the guidance of teachers and therapists.

Applicants should have Level 2/3 TA qualifications or CACHE Level 2/3 and a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN, ASC, ADHD or SEMH.
• Experience in specialist provisions, PRUs, care settings or residential environments.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Support students with ADHD, ASC, SEMH and communication needs.
• Assist pupils with MLD/SLD/PMLD and SLCN needs.
• Work with teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to implement EHCP targets.
• Support pupils with complex health needs where required (training provided).
• Help manage behaviour using structured and therapeutic approaches.
• Encourage independence, emotional regulation and social development.
