Job summary

Mana Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEN across four specialist school sites in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. Roles involve 1:1 and small-group support, working with pupils with ADHD, ASC, SEMH and communication needs, under the guidance of teachers and therapists.

Flexible opportunities available: daily supply, long-term placements or permanent roles. Applicants with CACHE Level 2/3 or Level 3 Diploma and experience in specialist settings are encouraged to

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, ASC, ADHD or SEMH.
  • Experience in specialist provisions, PRUs, care settings or residential environments.
  • CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Support students with ADHD, ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), SEMH and communication needs.
  • Assist pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and PMLD.
  • Support learners with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
  • Work alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to implement EHCP targets.
  • Support pupils with complex health needs where required (training provided where appropriate).
  • Help manage behaviour positively using structured and therapeutic approaches.
  • Encourage independence, emotional regulation and social development.
