Job summary

Coba Education is recruiting caring SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of primary and secondary schools throughout Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with SEND.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Patient, nurturing and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assist children with a range of additional needs including ASD/ADHD/SEMH.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in class.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support.
• Adapt activities to meet pupil needs.
• Promote inclusion, confidence and independence.
