Job summary

Cover People are seeking qualified Secondary Supply Teachers for immediate starts across North Manchester. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adapt confidently to different schools and maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil progress.

We offer regular day-to-day and short-term assignments, flexible work to suit your lifestyle, and competitive daily pay rates of £140–£190 per day DOE, with opportunities to secure longer-term roles through our partnerships.

Qualifications

• QTS required; ECTs encouraged to apply.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach across multiple subjects.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and capable of adapting to different schools.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and student progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 opportunities where required.
• Follow school policies and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Adapt confidently to different schools and classroom settings.
• Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations.
• Support pupils' learning and wellbeing throughout the school day.
• Provide clear handover notes for the class teacher where appropriate.
