Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking qualified secondary supply teachers to cover across Lowestoft and surrounding areas. Positions include flexible daily and short-term placements, with placements that fit your availability and preferences.

Applicants should hold QTS (or equivalent), have experience in UK secondary schools, and be committed to safeguarding. PAYE weekly pay and access to exclusive benefits are provided. Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Subject specialism in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL or PE or other.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in your subject specialism.
• Follow school policies and maintain classroom behaviour.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and student needs.
• Mark work and provide feedback where required.
• Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards.
