Job summary

Class Act Education is seeking a flexible Secondary Supply Teacher to cover across KS3-KS4 in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Short-term and long-term opportunities are available immediately, with pre-prepared plans and regular support from our team.

You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain positive classrooms, and provide feedback to staff on pupil progress and behaviour. A QTS or equivalent is required, with strong classroom management and a professional, reliable approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in secondary school settings.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Flexible and adaptable across subjects and year groups.
• Professional, reliable, and organised approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre-prepared plans across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach within your subject specialist where required, or provide general cover.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of different learners.
• Support pupil engagement and progress during short-term and longer-term cover.
• Provide feedback to teaching and pastoral staff on pupil behaviour and learning.
• Contribute positively to the wider school environment during supply placements.
