Job summary

Choice Teachers is seeking Secondary Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors for day-to-day and long-term supply placements in Birkenhead and the Wirral. Roles include supporting pupils with SEN and classroom supervision across secondary and SEN schools.

Applicants should have an up-to-date CV, the right to work in the UK, two references and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply). Driving licence is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• An up-to-date CV covering your full employment history (including gaps)
• The right to work in the UK
• Two professional references
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• A driving licence is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN, SEMH needs and learning support in secondary settings
• Supervise classrooms during teacher absence and assist with day-to-day/short-term/long-term placements
• Adapt to a variety of school environments across Birkenhead and the Wirral
