Job summary

Randstad Education seeks a General Cover Teacher (QTS) to provide flexible secondary teaching across KS3-4 in the Bristol area. Join a pool of schools for full-time cover or few days per week, with no planning or marking duties after the day ends.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and adhere to safeguarding policies, leaving handovers for continuity. QTS or equivalent and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent (ECTs welcome)
• Strong classroom management and professional approach
• Reliable with an 8:30 AM start
• DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain
• Documented right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects for KS3-4
• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment
• Follow safeguarding policies at all times
• Leave detailed handovers and notes for returning teachers
