Job summary

Derby Road Practice in Ipswich is recruiting a salaried GP to join our cooperative team. The post offers 6–8 sessions per week with flexibility for training, holidays and sickness, and the chance to work with SystmOne and AskMyGP. We offer NHS pension and a range of employee benefits as part of SPC.

The role emphasises high-quality patient care, calm teamwork, strong English communication, and adherence to protocols. Interviews week commencing 21 September 2026.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with current licence to practice.
• Participation in chronic disease management and preventive care.
• Ability to conduct autonomous clinical decisions within primary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgery and telephone/video consultations.
• Visit patients at home and manage on-call duties.
• Record notes, manage prescriptions, and follow clinical governance.
