Job summary

South Street Surgery in Ilkeston is seeking a Salaried GP to join a close-knit, supportive team at the Health Centre. The position offers about 4–6 sessions per week with a flexible arrangement for the right candidate, enabling full range of general practice duties and patient-centred care in a collaborative environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in governance and development activities, and contribute to high-quality patient care while pursuing ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience in UK general practice or primary care setting
• Experience managing acute and long-term conditions across a broad patient population
• Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and support learners
• Familiarity with EMIS Web or a similar clinical system

Responsibilities

• Routine and urgent patient consultations
• Management of long-term conditions
• Home visits when clinically appropriate
• Prescription and medication management
• Reviewing results and correspondence
• Participation in clinical meetings and practice development
• Working with the wider multidisciplinary team
• Contributing to clinical governance and patient care
• Supporting ongoing development of the practice
