Job summary

RAC is hiring a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join the Guildford cluster, covering areas such as Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Camberley, and surrounding towns. You’ll work about 40 hours weekly with a focus on returning members to the road quickly.

Expect a strong base of £55,869 with the potential to earn up to £61,000, plus a structured development pathway and full RAC support from day one, including a van, fuel card, and tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside assistance and get members back on the road in your local area.
• Manage your own kit and keep your van stocked; complete reports with precision.
• You’ll be flexible with shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, including weekends and holidays.

Education
