Job summary

NEXT plc is seeking a Store Assistant to support fast-paced store operations in the UK. You will process stock efficiently, maintain presentation, and deliver excellent customer service on the floor or in stockrooms.

The role offers flexible working options and requires strong communication, organisation, and a proactive attitude to development. Right to work in the UK will be checked in line with Home Office guidance.

Qualifications

• Friendly, calm and efficient communicator required.
• Accurate, thorough and well organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Energetic, with pace and enthusiasm; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing stock quickly and to the highest standard, including scanning, unpacking, hanging, size cubing and stock put-away.
• Ensuring stock is presented properly on sales floors or stored in stockrooms.
• Keeping store operational areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Providing fast and friendly service to customers on the sales floor and behind the scenes.
• Working as part of the store team, reporting to a Coordinator or Manager.
