Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to support customers with friendly, partner-led service in our store. You will help keep shelves stocked, process online orders for home delivery, and assist the team with checkout and Click & Collect tasks while maintaining a clean, safe shop.

Experience in customer-facing roles and a passion for food are welcomed. We welcome flexible working and a range of hours to suit the branch needs.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns on sell-by dates.
• Supporting the wider shop team with checkout support, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
