Pebbles Care Limited is recruiting a Residential Child Care Worker on a zero-hour basis to support children and young people across our homes in Scotland and the North of England. You will receive full induction, shadow shifts and Training in Therapeutic Parenting, with shifts offered regularly and a requirement to cover as many as possible, including at least one shift every four weeks.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£13.13–£13.94) with sleep payments, paid leave accrual, a referral

Qualifications

• Safeguarding children and young people responsibilities.
• Willingness to pursue childcare qualifications and training.
• Patience, resilience and non-judgmental listening.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full, valid UK manual driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Care for children and young people in all aspects of life, including safety, education, meals and activities.
• Support care teams across several homes in the same area.
• Complete induction, shadow shifts and Therapeutic Parenting training.
• Cover shifts regularly and undertake at least one shift every four weeks.
