Childbase Partnership is hiring a Relief Nursery Practitioner at Devonshire Day Nursery. You will work varied relief shifts (07:30–18:30, Mon-Fri) across the nursery, delivering nurturing care to children aged five and under.

This permanent, 0 hours/week role offers flexible patterns and growth within our employee-owned network. Applicants should be willing to work across nurseries, with a focus on safeguarding, observation recording, and partnership with parents.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for babies and children aged five and under.
• EYFS knowledge preferred for activity planning and observations.
• DfE approved early years qualification (level 2 or above) advantageous.
• Flexible, ad-hoc shifts available across the week.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care during relief shifts.
• Support learning through play and activities planned by the Key Person.
• Uphold safeguarding and promote child wellbeing.
• Collaborate with parents and nursery colleagues.
