Vision For Education Ltd. is recruiting a Cover Teacher to deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher. You will foster continuity of learning, uphold high behaviour standards and support student progress in diverse Staffordshire schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience working in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability across different subjects and schools.
• Confidence delivering lessons outside of your specialism.
• Genuine commitment to supporting students’ learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, focused and productive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support students in completing set work and achieving their learning objectives.
• Adapt confidently to different schools, subjects and classroom environments.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff.
